It's Not Much of An Update

It's been 5 months since I last updated. A few exciting things got added to the museum in the past few months, and I did finally get moved back into my dad's place. I won't go into detail about that here as I've covered that in blog updates on my personal site.

First off, an update from the last post: I am now 2 cards away from completing the collectible card set!

I'm now missing card no.77 (inside the caravan artwork) and the mail order only promo card, of which I still haven't seen pop up for sale.

I very surprisingly found the original postcard set for sale, and three of them at that (I only bought the one but I intend to buy another one if they're still available in the future because the one I bought didn't come with the original retail wrapper with the barcode and authenticity stickers on it).

While not part of the postcard set, I did find some loose miscellaneous postcards for sale as well:

For being almost 20 years old now, these postcards were in very good condition!

I did get these scanned and archived, but at some point I'll have to rescan them before uploading them to Internet Archive because Linux doesn't support either of my scanners and Linux Mint's native/default document scanner washes out the colours; I'd have to dig my Windows laptop out of storage at some point and get NAPS2 installed for proper scans.

I also picked up the last (for now) Mistral doujin:

In terms of having moved, I got some storage set up for everything. I have one bookcase dedicated to Crystal Chronicles and a heavy duty steel shelf for the archival stuff:

I intend to organise more (I have another steel shelf to set up) once I have more space, I have another 2 boxes worth of antique books I need to put somewhere that isn't in storage boxes and a few FFCC related things that I have yet to make room for on the bookcase.

That's really it for this update, I don't know when more exciting stuff will pop up for me to snag. I haven't gotten anywhere with scanlation stuff due to all my programs being Windows only and everything being allergic to WINE's compatibility layer, I'm hoping to remedy that before the end of the year because I really want to see the manga and light novels translated.
